Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is one of the most frequent and dismal solid tumors. In the latest period it has become also one of the front runners in translational research and in the development of new therapeutic strategies.
The study of molecular characterization in tissue and plasma has been at the basis of the improvement in outcome of advanced NSCLC patients. Targeted therapy and immunotherapy have changed the therapeutic perspectives and the outcome of advanced NSCLC patients.
The aim of the meeting is to comment about the most relevant achievements of the latest year and to discuss about the future applications of ongoing translational studies in lung cancer. Finally, we will focus on analysis of real-world application of clinical trials achievements and molecular knowledge.
